The Secret Annex
The secret annex is a place right above Mr. Frank's business behind a book shelf. You could not find it if you didn't not remove it from the wall. Anne's family wasn't the only family hiding in the Annex.The Frank family had already been planning to go into hiding, but one day Margot, Anne's sister, was sentence to a labor camp. which made their move into the Annex that much quicker.the frank family weren't only family living in the Annex. The Van Pels family also joined them in hiding on July 13, 1942. Anne did not get along With Mr.Pels, that made being in the Annex very uncomforable for her. After two years of hiding, tthey all got caught on August 4, 1944 . they were arrested and sentenced to a labor camp also known as a concentration camp. Otto Frank was the only one who survived the Holocaust.
(Otto eventually returned to the Secret Annex and found Anne's diary which is now a famous book called "Number of the Stars." In the book it tells a story about how Anne feel in her short life, her struggles ,and her time during the holocaust.)
